Spring is here, and April 4th saw Triskeles staff at the Renaissance Academy working with 50 second graders and teachers to refresh container gardens we gave them last year. A hands-on lesson in botany let most everybody take part in removing hardened old soil, adding worm compost and new soil as needed, and planting herbs and seeds. Soon classrooms will be filled with green growing things.
A great group of second graders–thanks for your help. And thanks to Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust for their support of this work.
