7am beckons the cooks to prepare recipe after recipe in time to enrich the teens with nutrients for the long day ahead. Music prompts the mood as hour after hour races by. The motto this summer is to embrace whatever mood fills the air and have fun with it. Isn’t Summer supposed to be fun anyway?
I will be the first to admit that I truly believe in the theory that your personal mood affects how the homemade bread turns out. (Maybe a little bit of the weather, too) Working beside a friend, cooking with passion, and embracing whatever comes our way is a fantastic way to spend the duration of the program. When you enjoy what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Day 6 Breakfast: Oatmeal with Milk or Almond Milk

Day 6 Lunch: Cucumber Salad, Green Salad, Homemade Honey Wheat Bread, Rattouille & Apple Cake
Day 7 Breakfast: Bagels with Cream Cheese & Butter
Day 7 Snack: Chocolate Chip Cookies & Watermelon
Day 7 Lunch: Cabbage Salad, Coleslaw, Green Salad, Homemade Honey Wheat Bread, Spanakopita & Carrot Cake
