This week, I’ve been learning how a bakery is run at Haverford College’s bakery. We made various batters and today, I was able to help make 400 cheese biscuits! Once they were ready for the oven, my job was to milk-wash every one! We also made brownies and lemon squares. We won’t know what we’re baking tomorrow until we get there. Hopefully, it’s something good.

Today was a lot more hands on. I learned how to properly ice a cupcake, I made pizza and even rolled all the dough myself. I cut up over 30 Oreo cakes for display and made carrot cake. Tomorrow we will work on making different kinds of bread.
