tempusOver 140 young adults from colleges and high schools, some as far away as Massachusetts and New York, came to Kimberton on February 1-2 for the first annual Tempus Conference on social entrepreneurship. After a welcome by KWS Board member Mike Precopio and an introduction by Triskeles Executive Director Clemens Pietzner, the group settled in to engage with a great line up of entrepreneurs and speakers from the region.

Saturday morning got off to a great start with a keynote by Jay Coen Gilbert, co-founder of B Lab. Dual tracks offered participants the chances to talk with a variety of successful entrepreneurs on topics ranging from ‘What Investors Look For’ to ‘Greatest Challenges I faced in My First Year in Business.” All were well received, and the participants gave the conference an A rating on their evaluations.
